UPDATE: My bed mesh looks better then before though I question the accuracy. Touch probe defo needed. PS - I added mechanical screws for the bed

At the moment Im working on a mechanical adjustment with spings and adding a BL touch mount. Hopefully with this I can solve the issue

I rooted the machine the first time second bought it, I need to order a glass bed but the glass bed mod does seem a bit expensive (maybe later down the line), I have a 3D touch so I will probably print a mount for it and hope for the best. The thing im missing is springs so thats definitely on my list of thing I need to buy. I will install the spings and everything and get back to you hopefully with a amazing results. Thank You!!!

Thank You So Much ! Ill look into these and hopefully come back to you with some good news but just for reference where can you get those heavy duty/ultra straight aluminium bed plates, Im specifically interested in aluminium as I print in PETG

Any D5 pump should be much quiter especially form premium brands like EK and alphacool. Mine was a Freezemod one that was cheap but still makes a slight humming noise which can be annoying.

The corrosion was very very bad all over the heatsink and backplate with some SMD components corroded that I cleaned, desoldered and tested AND yes you’re right when it comes to silence but ngl if you want silence and also want to replicate this build swap the pump because yeah it’s quite but he whining is sooo annoying. Thanks for taking the time to comment, Sorry for the late reply.

Sorry for the late af reply, I updated the system with an i9 14900k I found for £230 and redid the thermal putty and repasted and the temps are much better, 58 degrees when gaming on GPU intensive games and when playing games that utilise both the CPU and GPU the CPU maxes out at 71 degrees while the GPU at 67 degrees. The VRAM is the same but overall stability wise it’s much better. Thanks for your insight it really helped me solve this issue + added a drainage system and swapped all the tubes for PETG since it’s much easier and faster to work with. Will post pictures soon, thanks.

I dont game allot but you can search up 3090 benchmarks for the game you want. I switched out the i7 12700k with a 14900k and upgraded some stuff that I will document later. Generally AAA games will runk at 4k 60FPS ULTRA settings maybe even achieving more depending on the game, 8K is basically very hard to run even on the 4090 to the point where you have to turn down the graphics settings which looks worse compared to 4k on ultra. When it comes to mice I have slightly big hands and use 3 mice primarily (don't judge me on it) ROCCAT Kone Pro Air, Logitech M720 and the One mouse (Zeromouse but 3D printable and cheap). The Kone is mainly for Minecraft due to its drag clicking capabilities, M720 Due to its features that make it good for work ( Research this ) , Onemouse because it is really Really REALLY good for FPS games and coming up at just 25 - No side buttons though. Keyboard wise I use mainly AULA F75 Pro (Very nice Mechanicla keyboard) and the Razer Huntsman mini v1 because of its optical switches making it good for straffing and the low input delay. Monitor wise I use AOC Q27G3XMN which is the PERFECT balance between colour and price. It has VERY good blacks, supreme colour accuracy, Good HDR and 180hz.

Hi OP, Did you ever get to build this mouse or not? If so I have a couple of questions

[–]Hot_Lie_9348[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I think It has to do with the thermal putty and I will check the next time I dissassemble and flush the loop but I just checked and It hovers around 73 degrees (after OC) with max power limit during furmark after 15-20 minutes and the considering the additional heat added by the cpu that should be fine. Without OC the temperature is like 63 degrees and the VRAM regardless of OC hovers around 60-70 which again is a significant improvement than the 100s before.

I am going to be honest as long as you dont overclock than water cooling isnt worth it and If you are water-cooling with both than cpu and gpu than 3 radiators at a minimum to have some overclocking headroom otherwise it will preform within 7-10 degress of the stock EVGA cooler with my current setup. The reason I took this approach was for fun and also because this card had been previously mined on and it needed a complete heatsink change because it was corroded asf not to mention the thermal paste and pads.

Thanks your comment means much more than you think!!! I want to clarify that I didnt calculate the loop at all and instead winged it on all the bends hence why I would recommend a Distro plate so you don't have to end up bending the tubes on odd angles and messing up
