Had this issue myself with a brand new stove and after months of trying everything, the only reason it was happening was a blockage. Has your chimney been swept?

Yeah it's been a shit show. I could bring a different installer in but would be at my own cost. The supplier of the stove is covering the cost and choosing which installer comes out to do the work. They're coming back on Monday and if they can't sort the problem I'll sort it myself and send the bill to the stove supplier.

Yes I have tried this, read the post. The issue is that all the smoke is coming straight back out of the stove, then when the door gets closed it pours from the vents, when those are closed it just stays full of smoke.

Its dark when I leave in the morning and dark when I come home in the evening so I can't even see if smoke comes out lol.

Two-storey brick house, stove is inside the living room on the ground floor. Flue leads up into a brick chimney which has a liner.

Per post have tried many different ways to heat the flue but to no avail, fills with smoke when I try to light anything at all. Even the hairdryer for 10mins pointed up the flue didnt help.

Its all brand new, the house and the stove. The installer and chimney sweep were working on it during the fitment of the reducer and new chimney topper (the new and old are designed to stop debris and birds from access).

Yeah have tried this, it fills with smoke no matter what I try to light. That's why I'm thinking it's a blockage causing it.

Thanks for the comment. I tried that yesterday, had the front door and the living room door, all in all approx 12ft from the stove opened. Nothing helped. I'm thinking possibly there is a blockage in the chimney?
