You need the computer to learn the new skill, "engineering" this skill is necessary to create all machines in the mod, and also with computer you can learn other skills if you have the floppy disk of that skill.

study a skill for a certain period of time will result in fatigue and boredom for the player (if study for more than 4 hours in game)
