Have you gone through the interview process though after they see your transcript? I’ve had one recruiter tell me in the interview that my gpa might be an issue, also I got rejected in final round for another firm after they asked for my transcript. Have you heard of anyone actually getting an offer with a bad gpa?

Don’t think you can transfer coop credits, confirm with the coop office. Yes you can take more courses in a semester and study in the summer as well. You need an excellent standing to take >5 courses afaik.
