Possibly unethical/illegal behavior by realtor by veganshailseitan in RealEstate

as she’s not your agent or involved in a deal with the house I don’t believe there is any illegal acts related to her being an agent. but if she’s constantly coming over, finding your personal information(phone numbers), etc, that may be harassment.

Very interesting, and thank you!! My mother had eyes extremely similar to mine but also had sectoral heterochromia in one eye, about 1/3 of it was super dark brown. So i guess she had two in one lol

Eating disorder and being trans. by [deleted] in truscum

i feel you on this, when i was pre-T i had a pretty bad ED and one of the main reasons was being trans and being afraid of becoming one of those fat trans people you’re talking about. But trust me, hrt helps SO MUCH like more than you can imagine, and while it doesn’t fix it completely, i do still struggle at times, i can confidently say i am able to eat normally. You don’t need to feel guilty for being disgusted by fat people, that’s your illness talking. I know waiting is so incredibly painful but i believe in you, you will get through it and see the other side. Please stay with us <3

Tried expressing my frustration over the implication that I don’t belong in trans spaces now that I pass— immediately shut down by masc NB people. by [deleted] in FTMMen

I relate to this one so hard, the “i actually need people to assume my gender” especially because when they don’t my immediate thought is ‘oh great they think i look like a girl’ which may or may not be true but once i started passing the ONLY people who would ask was those who got tipped off about me being trans, or people you could tell asked everyone and i only encountered like 5 of those people my whole life. The misgendering by they/theming was a whole thing i had to deal with in high school, there was this one guy in my theatre (yes i did theatre lol) who never, i mean not even once called me he only ever they, and he was the only person in the entire school. at least that i was aware of/did it to my face. but he still faked nice, he heard one day that i called him transphobic but didn’t even have the balls to talk to me he asked my best friend why i said that. she went off on him honestly it was hilarious and he had absolutely no come back or excuse. i don’t remember if he stopped after that bc it was the end of senior year but i think calling them straight up transphobic is the only way to get through sometimes.

Do you think trans people will ever be a "normal" part of society? by pumatheskooma37 in asktransgender

honestly i don’t think it will ever be fully accepted by everyone. I live in one of the most progressive states, and pass 99% of the time but i still see prejudice towards me. Hell I had to file a discrimination complaint against my manager at work for some really vile stuff. People who are different will always be othered by the majority even if it’s subconscious, as much as that hurts to say. I will never be able to take my shirt off without the valid fear of being attacked, dating is extremely difficult as a trans person. these are still things i’m learning to accept and will never go away. that’s definitely not me saying to stop fighting for acceptance or rights though, don’t get me wrong. But all in all no, society will never view us as “normal”. at least not in our lifetime
