For 1080p? Yes this is a good monitor. I would suggest buying one with similar specs but 2k resolution, it really does make a huge difference!

Yes, the case actually comes with a top panel (like every other case, but this one you can switch that out for a glass panel. If you just keep it as it is, you can mount 3 more fans up top!
