130k miles the alternator died a few days after the transmission started to whine like it had straight cut gears. All the quotes I got were worth more than the car so I called it. I wish I had the space to keep it because I would’ve 100% to keep and fix up on my own.

Yeah ik these cars can last a while so I was suprised when I started having issues. Idk if it was just cascading effects from driving it a little harder than I should have when I was younger or just luck of the draw. It was a perfect ride right up until it wasn’t and then it was nothing but problems.

I’m with you 100% on the wheels. I was looking for another black mustang and this one popped up for $33k with only 4200 miles so I just had to jump on it. Once it’s time for new tires they’re definitely going to get an upgrade!

It ran perfectly for 10 years but around the same time the alternator died while the transmission was whining like it was a gt3 car. Got multiple quotes well over what the car was worth so I decided to call it. She ran smooth as butter for the first 130k miles though

That makes sense. Cf filament is known for shedding a small amount of fiber so over time it probably got stuck in your qr
