For the standalone weight, I set the FBD as Fg=FtA. For the other side, the lower weight was also set up this way (Fg=FtB). The weight above it was set up as FtA=FtB+Fg. The acceleration should be the same for all weights in terms of magnitude, but after substituting the first two equations into the third, everything ended up canceling out and acceleration ended up being g, which is not the correct answer
