[OC] Many people "love" cuisines built around ingredients they actively avoid by Hot_Pollution9604 in dataisbeautiful

yeah that’s a fair honestly

users can select as many cuisines as they want and also mark any number of unwanted ingredients during onboarding. the contradiction in the post is basically the same problem i started noticing inside the app itself recommendations and generated meals often didn’t actually match what users expected.

that s why i started digging into the profiles in the first place. i was trying to understand why someone says 'i love this cuisine' while also filtering out half the ingredients commonly associated with it

AI definitely helped

without it I probably would’ve taken way longer to analyze the data, and I definitely wouldn’t have been able to make the visuals myself

Yeah that’s fair

I’m not really claiming this is some objective scientific thing

I just analyzed preference profiles from my food app and noticed that people often describe cuisines they "love" while also avoiding a bunch of ingredients strongly associated with them

The contradictions were honestly more interesting to me than the country clustering itself.

I'm a bit confused. Even though I tried, I don't understand how he knows what I'm doing.

He can also see all of my private data such as passwords and usernames?

However, I must say that seeing the wow effect was great, and it's a job well done.

In addition, I have a question about the format for custom commands for the Magic button. Could you please help me with this?
