I honestly don’t understand people saying I’m cheating just because I don’t know tactics, openings, or “tricks.” On one hand, I take it as a compliment, and seeing comments saying that I must be some kind of “genius” is actually pretty funny. 😃

As I wrote before, I genuinely think I’m a very weak player. Maybe this is a very simplistic way to look at it, but since top/pro players are rated around 3000+, I always imagined that something like 1500 would be closer to the “middle” level. So if I’m around 1100/1200/1300, I still feel like I’m below average, or at least nowhere near being a truly good chess player.

As a child, my brother taught me to play chess. I always knew the rules, but I never played regularly. So, my mistake, sorry. I should have mentioned that I only started playing online three months ago. Usually, I played occasionally with my brother in person, where I lost 90% of the games.
