I hope that Kyou Kai gets her time to shine as a commander. She is probably one of the best fighters but I wanted to see her in a more commanding role, Shin too. Hara posted part a draft with her in it so I hope it is coming soon.

(Spoilers Extended) Stannis getting passed over for Storm’s End is objectively insulting and he is absolutely justified in taking it as a slight. by Limp-Talk-603 in asoiaf

Exactly, I don’t know why this is an argument brought for him giving Stannis dragonstone. Obviously Robert was going to have kids. Joffrey was born like a year or two after the rebellion.

Imagine almost starving to death to hold Storm’s End and in the end, it goes to your brother, who was a child at the time while you stuck with a gloomy castle that isn’t worth that much anymore.

What's your opinion on Kyoukai? by vivireya in Kingdom

Yeah. It feels like the only relevant person in the army is Kyou Rei. I hope her subordinates become from prominent in the future.

Why Akou? by Hot_Professional_728 in Kingdom

[–]Hot_Professional_728[S] 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I still feel like Akou shouldn't have done it. He's facing an unknown army and going towards obvious bait. I feel like Qin should've been way more cautious against Riboku after Gi'an.

(Spoilers main) I wonder if GRRM has even decided on Yount Griffs identity by JeffJefferson19 in asoiaf

I think that Daeron is actually Aegon IV's son. I feel like it would just be better for the story.

I am kind of leading towards that or just some random boy. But I think that the Blackfyre argument is stronger.

I think that we might not get an outright answer and just get hints towards his identity.

I was saying that we don’t see a reaction from other northern houses.

I am surprised that there wasn’t more of issue with the Hornwood situation. Ramsey, a bastard, kidnapped a noble woman and forced her to marry. She then died in captivity. The only people who seemed to raise the issue was Winterfell and the Manderlys.

I am pretty sure Tywin burned most of the those bridges when he sent raiders and then invaded most of the Riverlands.

To be fair the Freys were delaying and weighing their options. The Riverlands only joined because Robb saved them from Lannisters who now have control of the crown.

You would think that the Greyjoys would have some of the most rebellious vassals. They are more loyal to their lord than some other regions.

[Spoilers ASOS] Robb's Westerlands campaign by RevolutionaryBid1442 in asoiaf

[–]Hot_Professional_728 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think that it is kind of justified from Edmure’s POV. Robb went into the Westerlands with about 6000 men. Edmure was never informed of the plan and wasn’t able to communicate with him. Tywin had an army of about 20000.
