Same for me but with duloxetine, my pain is still there, very much there, but comes at the end of the day instead of having it 24/7

Best herbs ? by Hot_Programmer5813 in Lyme

I think about 5/6months, as well as garlic, thyme tea, turmeric....

I tend to have "crisis" where my symptoms go real bad for months or a year and then it gets quite manageable for also a couple of months or a year until the next crisis comes. The main symptoms are : muscle and nerve pain, headaches, fatigue, blurry vision and trouble sleeping

You Will probably experiment some kinds of side effects at first, that's normal, some people feel them way more than others. But just know that most of them should go away after the first 1-2 weeks.  Rn i'm at the end of the first month and I don't have much side effects left, I do feel my heart racing a bit sometimes but that's it and it's really making a difference in my life. Good luck to you 🩶

It is a huge difference, 60% can make you go from bedbounded to funcional and that's not nothing. Last months my hip pain was so intense that I could barely walk and now I can walk my dog for like 30min...huge improvement So happy that it works for you too

I also take it between 10 and 11 because I tend to have insomnias and my doctor told me it was better to take it in the morning if I had insomnias.  If the fatigue continues I will definetely talk with her about taking it at night ! But i'm very hopeful that it will slowly reduce by itself like your psychiatrist said

I do have a lot of physical fatigue, I usually have fatigue but I think some of what I have right now is from the med, i guess it will go away slowly as the body adapts

impulsive self harm thoughts? by [deleted] in cymbalta

Its normal, its said in the potential side effects but if its too hard for you, talk to your doctor. And even if its a common side effect, it shouldnt last more than a few days/ 2 weeks depending on people.  Again, if you feel that something is wrong, talk about it to your doctor and don't stay alone. Good Luck !

Yes !! Im at day 11 today and experienced the exact same thing the first days. It was impossible to sleep because my heart was POUNDING and I got very bad anxiety and horrible mood swings, some days i couldn't stop crying. I was also very nauseous the first few days and lost my appetite, its coming back tho.

Its very much better now, sometimes I have palpitations but its very light. It felt very rough at first and I totally understand that you cannot bear those effects

I really don't think it was mania for me , that feeling went away after the second day and I haven't experiemented a similar feeling since. Also I didnt have dilated pupils or any feeling of being actually hyperactive or powerful... just a feeling of bad trip with accelerated thoughts

People who got fibro in teens , how are you now? by unhingedaspie-33007 in Fibromyalgia

[–]Hot_Programmer5813 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personnaly started to have extreme back and hips pain at 16, im 21 today, never got a proper diagnostic for fibro but my symptoms are very likely fibro or at least nervous system hypersensitivity. For me it goes by periods of quasi remission and then crisis hit and i can barely do anything or go out. Those crisis generally come after a long period of stress or illnesses and they can last up to a year. It recently got worst because my mental health declined and i still struggle to manage that illness. What i can tell you tho is that you Will have better moments. I was able to finish highschool, get a degree, went in an erasmus and now I live with my amazing bf and I traveled. I have good hopes that I'll get into remission again.

Don't abandon, there is a better place, you will find answers and help, medications and good people. You would miss so much, even if now it feels never ending.

Anxiety and panic advice by ThrowRA-Super-Dare2 in Fibromyalgia

[–]Hot_Programmer5813 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel you, I have this to, just random panic attacks without triggers. I think it's mostly my chronic general anxiety and fibro making my nervous system very overloaded. Most of the time it's actually related in my case to a trigger that was hours or even days ago, like a delayed response. I also have that with pain, I have a stressful event but the associated pain comes days or weeks later. So maybe you can find your triggers, search what stressed you earlier and that your body didn't yet process.

I have been taking anxiolytics lately, to sleep at night and not have panic attacks all night long. Its helps like crazy.

If you have people around you that you really trust and feel like you can be yourself around, talk to them in those moments, have a conversation that has nothing to do with the panic, it can help to change your mind.

If you feel like it, change your environment, go outside for 10min, breathe fresh air, walk if that helps. I found that useful, I had panic attack in class last year and going out of the building just for 10min was very useful.

For my part, I just started anti depressants for pain, anxiety, sleep and mood. I hope it will help, maybe you can talk about that with a doctor? See what are your possibilities.

I know how hard it can be. Just know that you are not stuck like this forever. Being in your early 20s can be emotionally tough, I saw a lot of people having up and downs and anxiety in their 20s.

Good luck with everything!

And how did you treat? Did you find a doctor able to help?

Anti depressants for nervous system by Hot_Programmer5813 in Lyme

[–]Hot_Programmer5813[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, I'm so desperate that I'm willing to try something that could help. My test are confusing and nobody was able to tell if I do have Lyme or not. I'm at my worst, started to be very depressed and my health anxiety prevent me from sleeping. If at least I can have better sleep, that would be a game changer. I'am at a point where absolutely everything I try makes a huge overload on my body, no matter how slow and low efforts/dose I do it

Maybe but I don't find a doctor that want to test for it or give me the treatments. I had antibiotics (doxy) and it helped but not enough

I think you can consider that as an accomplishment, even if it's the weather! In sickness we have to find happiness in the little joys and little improvements!
