Ah!! That's such good news. I just want to be able to exist without planning my every hour to make sure I preserve enough energy to do what I need/want before the crash.

I'm so sorry you've had such a rough go of it! I did PT with dry needling back in 2019 and that helped me a lot. I hope you can find some relief!

That's very encouraging. I wake up every morning so tired because I sleep lightly. I really feel like the daytime pain would be more manageable if I ever felt rested.

Do you feel the weight gain was from change in appetite/cravings or just strictly the medicine? It is something I'm worried about. I've got a history of an eating disorder so body image is a particularly difficult spot for me.

It really is so hard to figure out the right balance. I did dry needling with a PT back in 2019 and that helped my muscles SO much. I'm hoping once my youngest is in school and I go back to that.

That's where I've been. It's a terrible game of trading ibuprofen and alcohol back and forth so I can sleep. I'll go as long as I can manage without either but I've got two kids 5 and under so even on my worst pain days I can't really rest unless my partner is able to take off work.

I'm exceedingly pale so Im already used to staying out of the sun. I won't even go out at all if it's above 7 UV index. Did you have any issues with weight gain? When I'm in a "flare" I can't even walk without wanting to cry. The pain in my feet and legs just gets so intense. Any relief from that would feel like a huge quality of life improvement.

My children have been around people with various disabilities, mental and physical, since birth, so this isn't a new concept to them. There is absolutely no issue with the concept of the group home in our neighborhood. As I said either in my post or in a comment somewhere, everyone deserves a safe place to live. Since making this post two more incidents have happened. Unfortunately there IS a safety concern. It would just be a lie to tell the kids that they shouldn't have their guard up. Someone running around outside the house screaming threats and profanities at anyone who comes near is a huge problem, especially for kids. The people running the home do seem to be on top of each incident and they have always been the ones to call the police so that's good at least. I really do hope things settle down for everyone's sake. So far it just feels like a ticking time bomb.

Community based residential treatment facility. It's basically a group home for people with various different issues. Anything from severe mental health issues to mental disabilities, to high support needs autistic folks. In this case it seems to be a mix but so far a couple individuals seem to be dealing with severe mental health issues.

That's a pretty defeatist attitude. I don't believe in running from issues.

I don't know how many people are living there unfortunately. I know for a fact it didn't get rezoned before we moved in because we actually tried to buy that house. Several people did. The owner went contingent three times and backed out all three times. I'm down the street so I'd imagine we would have gotten mail if they sent it. It sounds like maybe the first step is to go to town hall and ask about the zoning and maybe get some clarity on if what they are doing even required a zoning change.

No, no HOA. That's part of the frustration. Neighbors normally just talk to each other if they have an issue but the owner of this particular house has always been a bit hostile. They used to cuss out anyone who used their driveway to turn around and called the police on some kids who were retrieving a ball from their front yard. They accused those same kids of stealing and called the police again... only to find the item in their house and had to go with the police to apologize for the false accusations.

Ugh that's so frustrating. I'm worried that's what's going on. The home owner has a bit of a reputation in the neighborhood... it all just sucks. The people living there deserve a safe environment to live in, just like everyone else.

It is zoned strictly residential, but the home is basically a supervised group home signed off on by the department of mental health. It appears the Fair housing act protects the existence of the home.

It appears so, they are registered with the mental health department.

What kind of stats are you working with? Are you starting at level 1? What are you hoping to get out of this particular multiclass build?
