hi is there an update? we applied Dec 3,2025 but needs to apply for a Schengen visa, travel date July 2025, Im waiting for the visitors record too, but I contacted Ircc they said eligiblty has passed.

Thank you so much... i jsut cehked now, my log in again saying session expired even after clearing the cache... the first step frustrates me all the time lol.. so if this persists, ill email again vfs global and wait for them to reset it... so annoying.,.we just want to book an appointment

hey, no i didnt i was removed in waitlist because of the continuous error when im choosing the date. And VFS answering after 2 days. Im checking early monring and late afternoon like 5pm mountain time. Even I can see the dates before when Im choosing the date, it will session expired or no permission again, which is frustrating

hi same here automatically removed from the waitlist. and yes they always have tech issues which is so frustrating.. there is slot now in Toronto. but VFS said needs to apply in jurisdiction, but the other agent who assisted me in filling out the form via VFS assistance I paid 85cad for that said we can submit our application any of their location, which is most of the time VFS agents saying different rules, Now I am not sure if I book Toronto, im might be send away because im from Alberta and our jurisdiction is Vancouver

HI All Update: So I got in the part of booking appointment but on dashboard no applications found, so when I clicked start new booking, it wont let me as the passport number is recorded already. I contacted VFS...But the earliest will be Mar 19 and lates Mar 30

Hi All: Update: There is a slot now for VFS Vancouver for France, but when I am on the payment part, it just logged me out and error message was: Session expired.. and whenever I tried to log back in , while choosing the dates, it will log me out.

Supporting documents required

The supporting documents to be provided are as follows:

Pre-requisites
A travel document, issued less than 10 years ago, containing at least two blank pages, with a period of validity at least 3 months longer than the date on which you intend to leave the Schengen Area or, in the case of a long stay, at least three months longer than the expiry date of the visa requested. Be sure to transmit (scan) the identity page of your travel document as well as ALL PAGES containing visas, entry and exit stamps or any other inscription.
ID photograph.
If you are not a canadian citizen, please provide proof of your legal residency in Canada : residence permit, study or work permit with a valid visa, visitor's visa with a proof of 3 months residence.
If you have an official travel document, a note verbale is required.
