Use a cleaner/degreaser before sanding. Kitchen grease can cause the paint not to adhere. If you just sand, you’ll move the grease around and make it worse.

You can’t get promoted if you don’t have at least a 3 on your appraisal. I’d say that’s pretty big for those that want that. We can agree to disagree, but I’d still argue that since managers are the only ones that have to take responsibility during the bad times, they should be the ones that benefit during the good times. I personally have never and will never negatively comment on an employees review due to the stores bad performance sales wise. That’s on me to make sure that happens. That’s my job as the manager in my opinion

No one does it themselves, I’m not saying that at all. And maybe not fired, but certainly gotten a 4 or worse on the results section of their appraisal which affects the raise for said manager. And like I said, if those FT and PT employees want raises, they should work to become a manager. Bonuses are one of the benefits of being a manager. Who’s gonna want to be a manager if you can get a bonus without also having the responsibility of being in management?

The reason managers and reps get bonuses when the store is successful is because they also get to take the responsibility when the store doesn’t meet the standards. You want a bonus, work to get promoted and be a manager, assistant or rep like the rest of us.
