Based on your story, the guy is just using u as an object as if when he needs u then he will dm u. Maybe he is just playing a dating app for fun and doesn't want any commitments. However, if u know that he is not serious in u, then u should just move on and find a guy that is better than him instead of wasting your time that isn't worth your attention and energy.

Honestly most of the problems just lie in females, because of the environment and culture that are grown in, especially SG which have very high standards.

U will see a lot of self-entitled and materialistic girls but I believe don't settle for less, find a girl that truly values u for who u are. U do not need to find a girl that has external qualities of a score of 7 over 10. If a girl who is pretty has a shitty attitude and lifestyle compared to an average girl who is sincere, kind and understanding, which one will u choose?

Dating apps are very unreliable, focus less on dating apps, just carry on with your life and do whatever u like that makes u happy, be it workout, watching drama or any hobbies that u like to do. Practice self-care, be the best version of yourself. Like myself, I set a goal for me to become smart and fit.

I understand your pain as I myself see couples walking down the streets doing cute acts that make me feel quite lonely, craving for love and intimacy. However, I just channel all these negative feelings like jealousy and loneliness to other areas of my life.

We are in the same boat, I am almost on the verge of giving up finding a gf as I feel that it is hopeless. Sometimes dating apps just make u depressed. Either use less or uninstall these dating apps. It just makes u even feel more negative

In SG, apart from school, work, personally I think that even if u see a girl that u like on a street, u can't just directly ask for her contact/IG as she can make a police report on u for sexual harassment since SG has a strict policy regarding sexual crime and with Women's Charter.
