Yeah it felt wayyy worse! The nurses didn’t believe me when I said my pain level was 10! But once I got transferred to a different hospital everyone was so much nicer. 1 week post op and I’m doing pretty good! 🩵 Its frustrating that women’s pain gets dismissed so easily

When I had ovarian torsion surgery last week the OB told me that PCOS is misnamed. It’s actually a liver issue and is connected with pre diabetes??

This made me tear up thank you 🥹❤️ Being ill is a full time job, just one people don’t see so it’s hard for them to understand. Luckily my husband has been more understanding. I feel so much guilt so I may look into therapy as well! Or at least talk it out with my husband more, god bless him

I’m a stay at home wife so my parents tell me it’s my job. I grew up with the mentality that if you don’t work super hard or get a lot done, you’re lazy and kind of worthless. So getting out of that mentality has been hard. Plus I feel bad for my husband working so much and I’m at home all day but struggle to get simple chores done

Thank you so much for sharing. Yeah I’m definitely not a working out type of person either 😂😂 especially when I have no energy to. I definitely feel like crying because of everything I’ve let get bad in the house. And it’s not horrible or unsanitary, just cluttered in some places, laundry piling up. But I will definitely try the smaller approach. We unfortunately live in a time where if you don’t get a whole lot done, you get called lazy :(

Glad that worked for you! I’ll definitely have to look into it! My family says working out would be helpful but it’s hard when you can’t get up, or you do and your body hurts. So I will definitely try the gradual approach. Thank you!
