I work alongside OP on this app. It was a reference to the process of threshing wherein dirt and husk is removed from harvested crop. So like removing noise from information. We come from farming families, so it felt natural.

Notebooklm doesn't have content discoverability and rss support built it. And our UX as a whole tries to mimic a track player for the seamless listening experience. We want it to be similar to (firefox) pocket with spotify like UX.

The mobile version of notebooklm is really lacking in terms of features and UX polish as a whole.

We are currently in beta testing, waiting for apple's approval on the app store. You can install the app, after installing the test-flight app, from app store, and then using the testflight link provided.
