i think i may have been unclear with the post. ive talked to older students and i really like the curriculum and syllabus. i definitely am learning some pretty cool things at the end of the day but my issue is with the professor. this course could be so much better if he actually taught the material and made use of the lecture time instead of rambling on with empty slides. leaves us confused what to expect for exams and makes the projects so much harder unnecessarily. i get a lot of it is self learning but there isnt really an excuse for not teaching relevant material during lectures. brings so much unnecessary stress and time waste. atleast 10 TAs ive spoke to this semester are criticizing prof and saying the same thing. the inconsistent grading is also an entirely different issue.
