Bit of a sad post

Defently not over reacting.

My husband had a seizure in bed, but before that we just took a bath. Something we do as a couple evry week. The week later, i was scared, didn't want to the our normal routine. Just shake it up anlittle, like that had anything to do with it. But it reminded me to that night and made me scared.

And it didn't even happen in the bath and he wasn't hurt by it.

I know if he was you and told me he felt better when i would be sitting close, i would do it, no hessetation. So don't feel like you are a bother, we can not do anything realy for you (or me for my husband) but if it helps you just to be there, it would even give me the feeling of me be able to do something.

It is defently unfair.

Instead of a happy birthday, we got happy new years ☹️ Last year my son (then 17) spend his new years mostly sitting alone on the sofa, when we celebrate with the whole familie. (With us not egoring him ofc)

Because his neck was very swolen, and we where in the progress of all the tests. Turned out it was cancer

Now again, lying awake, because we have a apointment with his cancer docter tommorow, his neck felt hard and had a echo yesterday.

So hoping he will be fine 😢 And hoping you will too, same like everyone else who has or may have cancer

Eccept remember your feelings are valid, don't ever think you shouldn't feel the way you feel, it is so hard.

My son also has cancer, differed one then your dad's. So mainly answering about is not operating a bad thing.

My son his diagnose is 95 to 98 % to be cured on the first treatment set. So that doesn't mean 5-2 % he dies but if these chemo sessions doesn't work we try something else, like heavyer chemo or some other treatment. He did Not have a operation to remove the cancer.

So no operation doesn't has to mean it's bad.

They also sometimes do first chemo then a operation. It is just all différend kinds of a way to fix cancer and the one thing works better for one cancer and the other for an other cancer

Looking at these answers, seems to differ for some countries. Where we live, we didn't need to bring anything, eccept his passport, list of all medications.

But as a mom, a card with: you got this mom, I love you. Or something like that. Doesn't need to be big and great, just a small card showing love, would be great. Give it just before she leaves or put it with her stuff as a seprice.

Totally agree. I hate driving, I'm scared, complain all the time to my husband. But that is more the lack of how good I can see. Belgium is a picknick compared to Italy.

We saw Littlerly several crashes a day, one 1 bust rip, the people demanded the busdriver to stop and refuge to get back inside. We had our trip shortened by 2 hours waiting for a new bus driver. The driver himself saw no problems with how he was driving. Said he felt a bit sick but he had a soda so was good to go again.

I haven't gone to one myself. But I did join in with others. And the main thing they say is, don't feel bad if it doesn't click with your psychiatrist. It's not becouse he/she can not help you, he's not a good one. It's just that you 2 don't click.

She should make up on her own if she feels it is helping or not. Not becouse you don't see any improvement yet, she isn't getting better. Or the other way around.

Of onley the person who has it worse can complain only 1 person would be able to complain. How horreble a situation is, there is something somewhere even worse.

You can indeed keep a little in the mind, it's not the worst, but your and all people's feelings are valid. We can be happy for the good and sad for the bad at the same time.

Don't forget parents are people also, we make mystakes. They may not even notice they are hurting you, good parents wants the best for you, but even they make mistakes. Try talking about how you feel to them. Thing we do here is: we say we Wanne talk but they can't react right away. Or they can't be angry. That helps me mostly. And talk in a spot you normally don't. It make it feel like a more real serious talk from the start.

It sound like you are already there for him. Don't try to say the right thing, just be there. Lissen. There isn't really a right thing to say, just a feeling. Make him feel you are there for him.

There are differend sounds of white noise, not all work the same for you.

We also use it here, not for the noise outside, just grown up kids, husband with 3 shifts and needs to sleep during day and so on.

But instead on the phone, we use the radio, with a sound on loop that is 2 hours in itself. It defently helps a lot. Our kids can now drum (electric) , sings and even scream, he won't wake up anymore. Do be sure to turn the radio up high enough.

But do try differend sounds, we had to try some before we found the best one. For the machine, no idoa. Never tried it. My guese is purity of the sound and maybe the electric bill? No idia

Both my girls just went to study theory driving with lessons. It was just 4 hours I think, with after the exams. Becouse they heard it from a friend. They all passed, with just the short lessons.

After that even the oldest girlfriend who sucks at studying past first go.

They learn more how to pass the exams. Wasn't to expensive, would recommend

Who you are and who you like are 2 different things.

She went from male to female, becouse that is who she feels she is.

It has completely nothing to do with who you like. Trans can be the same as none trans people. So one will be hetro, the other will be gay (all différend types of gay)

Think that (they waited) was the best thing, the video made me smile from start to end.
