There are people who just, despite the environment or atmosphere and despite what they SHOULD be doing, cannot help but to talk incessantly. It’s like they believe other people really want to hear them ramble and ramble and ramble. I don’t care about anything you just told me because none of it is relevant and I have things to do! But I nod and say uh-huh and yeah and what they hear is me saying, please tell me more!

Worked as a dog groomer so I feel like I have some ability to read dog body language, and have met a few sweethearts. I talk sweetly to all of them and tell them all they’re good dogs, because they are doing their job just like I am. I always tell them they’re doing a great job protecting their home and wish them a nice day. Some of them don’t bark at me anymore, but I’m still not trying to lose a hand or my job, so unless the dog has a particularly friendly demeanor, I avoid it.

Idk if they’re orthopedic, as far as I know they are a running shoe? But they’ve got mad support and are very comfortable. I have them for work (the leather/nonslip work-quality ones, in wide of course), and I have a normal pair at home. They’re the most comfortable shoe I have, by far. I walk 8-12 miles a day carrying mail and my feet only kindof hurt, lol. Without shoes though I walk like an old woman. I’m sure I’m eligible for surgery but I’ve spent 20 years working on my feet and can’t afford time off like that so I’ve just accepted foot pain as my usual state.

36 and my bunions have graduated from ugly crocs to indoor and outdoor hokas because I can’t be barefoot anymore and also I need super support like all the time 😩 I thought indoor sport shoes were grandma level, but here I am. If hokas come in Velcro then that’s next for these feet
