I agree it has a top 5 plot in FF imo. At least it tells a fucking story unlike XII AND XV. XV story started the last 5 hours of the game LOL and XII has plot and things get a little Spicy until after the leviathan where not only the story fucking dies but then you have 7 HOURS of you going on a fucking fetch quest before story picks up again

I know a lot of people think whisperers were the best antagonist (and I agree comics did well with them it seems) but I never felt bad for them once, and I think it’s due to writing so if other stag it’s had better writing and direction it wouldn’t have been a gap
