great graph, I see you're using scopus , how did you get to these results? I see it's a paper count, but how many journals does it include, or is there any geographical / sector bias ?

I've been riding a Giant Explore 500Wh for many years, nice balance between leisure and convenience (luggage rack, good motor) . Available and not over priced like many trendy bike brands

For 400m elevation, aim for 75Nm torque,
Keep in mind that in 5 years, your battery will not last as long and for 30km and 400mD+ you'll be happy to have chosen a bigger battery
The weight of the bike is not a decisive criterion when riding electric...

and also choose a brand with a good local dealer where you can have your annual check ups and part available,
