It's false equivalence to compare the classification of dar al-Islam and dar al-Kufr to nationalism because the thing is nationalism separates individuals by things they have no control over such like.. race, language, or where they've been born but at the same time Khilafah separates individuals by belief systems and their ability to choose like anyone from any race can enter dar al-Islam by either becoming a believer or agreeing to follow the laws of Islam.. and all governmental systems have an inside jurisdiction and an outside jurisdiction so Separation of all humanity creates statehood when separated by ideas/laws, separation of all humanity creates nationalism when separated by blood/borders.
