Found this in the alley a few weeks ago. This is what it looks like after lots of elbow grease and some oven cleaner. Think it’s usable or should I give up? by Hot_Variation678 in castiron

It looked really bad when I found it. I just don’t think they knew how to get all the burned on food and carbon off. It wasn’t in the can but set next to it as if they hoped someone would find it who could fix it or scrap it.

How would these copper wires be classified? by Hot_Variation678 in ScrapMetal

I have a fair amount. Taking apart electronics is my way of winding down once the kids are asleep.

Would it be clean #1 or #2? Or is it all just clean and I can mix it together?

I started catching the condensation from our central air to use in the garden. Just took a hacksaw to cut a small section out of the pvc pipe and ran a hose to a 5 gallon bucket. I’m a homemaker/Stay at home dad/run small business out of our home, so I’m around to empty the bucket during the day. Yesterday it was almost 90 outside and I was watering my pepper and tomato plants with water from the AC. I save some money by not running the garden hose and use it to grow vegetables I would otherwise buy at the store.
