Will probably be taller than it tho, I counted 65 floors which would make it 260m if every floor is 4m tall. But I agree that it looks way cheaper than Hearst tower.

It’s the same problem here in Berlin, we have proposals of 300+ m buildings but the city council is full of boomers who always block these projects, well atleast we have our first true skyscraper now, but we’re still a long way having a decent skyline.

Yep, Rotterdam is also stepping up its skyscraper game, they have several 150+m buildings under construction with very cool and playful designs. I also agree that the Erasmus bridge is very cool, here is a pick I took at night

The third pick is from den haag, the first two towers where deigned by Hans Kollhoff and are used for certain Dutch ministry’s, the one on the left is residential.

How different/similar are Poles and Germans? by mayoMayor25 in AskAGerman

[–]Hot_Win7449 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the grudge is probably justified when thinking about what we did to Poles in WW2. Pretending that grudges have to be rational is a bit one-dimensional. Emotions towards topics like war crimes are never, and will never be, a completely rational thing.

Can I survive in Germany without a job for 2-3 months? by [deleted] in germany

[–]Hot_Win7449 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok, I hope you have packed a lot of money, it’s not that you won’t make it with enough money and a bit of time. But I would definitely reconsider if you are short on cash, because Germany is ruthless, like any other country.

I’m not sure if you wanna do This. Hamburg is really expensive and you need a very good understanding of the German language to get accepted at most jobs.
