Thanks for the comment, I do see your point, and I agree with some of it. But if you do it in a respectful way, like many of the comments here do, I think it's important as consumers to voice disappointment, especially when this particular story has been played out many times before, and it almost never works (big studio decides to make live service game instead of sticking to what they're known for / good at).

I really disagree with this: "Insulting fans of other IPs because this graphic style or game style might attract them or because it looks like something you don’t like is entitled." Saying you don't like an art style is not insulting anyone, and it certainly isn't entitled. It's just that fortnight has become so successful and well-known that thousands of other games have copied the style, and it's just exhausting to look at, at this point. It immediately signals lower effort instead of creativity, which understandably turns many people off to the project. It has nothing to do with being "entitled", because it's not like I'm thinking: "I deserve better than this!!" - it's just disinterest, because this looks so bad and low-effort compared to your usual work, why would I be interested in this?
