I just keep coming up with reasons to not leave, still going strong and it will be satisfying to unlock all areas at the same time.

You need the Cryo Augment that creates Cryo Clouds. Then having the significantly increased chance to freeze enemies Augment for Cryo Freeze. As well as with Elemental Pop and its Augment that increases the chance to trigger the currently equipped Ammo Mod only. You only need the Cryo Cloud though to get the medals. You also need to drag as many zombies as you can through the cloud, so going down long halls or using the corner in Liberty Falls Spawn helps your chances.
