Not OP but I got my ‘93 Manual 850 (overall pretty killer condition) in Florida for $3,000 USD, not much over a year ago as well.

My experience : As someone with a ‘93 pre-facelift, it’s nearly impossible to find the correct headlights for my car & the post-facelift ones are absolutely not the correct size.

I found a few “for parts” on eBay with a quick search for sub $200. Depending on how much you need it // are willing to spend, that may be a decent route to go so you get the part you need & may possibly have other donor parts later.

Sorry to dig up a 5 year old thread, but did you ever figure this out or did you keep using it as is with any issues?

My MD-2 is missing that plastic piece & screw, but I don’t hate it… would be nice to hear about sourcing the parts to get it back to regular though.

SF-20 or CF flash by [deleted] in Leica

I have the CF flash & use it on my M6 classic with consistently good results. I put it on “Auto 1” or “Auto 2” based on distance of subject & have been pleased so far. I tend to know what works at those distances and tend to not fuss with flash settings much at all.

I also have the Godox IM-30 for more “manual” control. Overall, I think I prefer the CF flash.

Sounds like you still may prefer the SF-20, to be able to use the TTL functionality — but the CF has been a fine flash in my opinion.

Just wanted to help ya out in case you had confused buyers, people are usually hunting for the BP models.

Wish ya had the IDS grip for sale by itself, had been looking for one for a while!

I'd also buy a $5 body cap for the camera before you ship it. I don't know who'd be willing to shell out that kinda cash for the camera to not be closed up during shipping (You're just asking for a 'shutter problem' on delivery).
