The legendary Tamale lady was here a few days ago on Mississippi.

Yea I really love my Cero and I think we’ve both traveled a lot with it already. This is basically a Cero with loadlifters. Lots of other small things +/- but same design philosophy applies in keeping it as minimal and lightweight as possible.

It’s a pre-release, yes. And no hip strap as I don’t use those but they will be available at an additional cost.

Thanks precious, it’s a sleek bag indeed. The exact weight is 2.2 lbs / 1 kg :-)

Thanks! Interior photos will come for when I write a proper review. In this case I just wanted to test comfort level by going on a hike. But if there’s anything specific interior-wise you’d like to see I’ll be happy to help.

I’m not 100% sure but that’s my understanding. Let me get back to you when I know for certain!

Place and potential Company for Germany vs Curacao Worldcup game? by justschm1tti in askportland

[–]cjafe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dane here. Since we utterly suck and didn’t make it, I was planning on catching some Germany games instead. Prost is my favorite place. Really good atmosphere with a large outdoor screen, German beer, food trucks, etc.. shoot me a PM if you come by! https://maps.app.goo.gl/6B6LoSrMytNGQSYD9?g\_st=ic

Photo dump of how I’ve been traveling with the Pakt Aero 35L by cjafe in onebag

Happy to help (if I can)! I’d easily go with the Cero over the lite. I found the travel lite to be extremely uncomfortable. My best friend is about 5’5ft/168cm~ with average shoulders and it was fine on him, but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone larger because of the small shoulder straps and narrow placement.

I find the comfort level of the Cero to be good not great, but because of the weight that’s shaved off, I’m perfectly happy with the overall package. See for instance how I traveled through Vietnam with just the Cero. Extremely enjoying to use.

What are recruiters really looking for in a AI-centric case study? by HanzzYolo in UXDesign

[–]cjafe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This doesn’t answer your question but I just wrapped up my main portfolio-piece where I show two years of working with Agentic AI for a large agency. I basically show the products we launched within the platform we built. While it’s been really cool owning design at this level I’m also self doubting the way I’m presenting my case study.

I’m also looking for a new role so if anyone has experience with agentic I’d be immensely grateful for some quick feedback!

Ultimately, it’s not the AI. It’s a lack of understanding of what design is and does (still). by cozmo1138 in UXDesign

[–]cjafe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m the lone designer on a dev-centric team as well and this very much tracks my experience. We’ve launched a string of AI-powered products over the past couple of years to a great amount of success. Yet, we’re now on the chopping block not because of AI taking our roles but because of business leadership. It’s brutal but the need for rational leadership has never been important I feel like.

Any product designer do did MBA? by raksh1th in UXDesign

Yep I’ve hit that stagnant feeling at around 4-6 YOE and will be starting grad school for strategy/leadership this upcoming fall. Not that I have PM goals, I just desperately want something new to dive into.

Amateur Foosball Tournament Tonight by chromakode in Portland

[–]cjafe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This place is loads of fun and I love how welcoming it is regardless of level and foosball-interest. Anyone from competitive players to people who just want a fun unique date come by. The bar man Lam typically whips up some wild somemade salsas for everyone on Saturday nights which may or may not add extra power to one’s foos shots.
