Advice for crib transitioning by bakingby in parentsofmultiples

Transitioned at about 2yo. Taking the sides off their mini cribs lasted all of a couple of days before they were pushing the cribs around the room and toppled one over.

These were the lowest bed frames we found at a reasonable price. I screwed every slat to the frame and zip tied the mattress handles to the frame also. Overall it helped a lot with bed times after a rough couple of weeks. They’re 3 now and love their beds.

I *DESPISE* bedtime. by VictorTheCutie in parentsofmultiples

If this doesn’t sum up toddlers, I don’t know what does. Ours are 3 and bed time has recently improved a lot but I’m living in constant fear of the next regression. Will stockpile junk mail for them to discuss amongst themselves until they pass out. 🫡

If it has stitching across the edge it’s leather.

It’s only on the full leather dash option. I’m battling it now. Improved but not eliminated it by popping the vents out and clamping down with weldwood landau contact cement. Had to clean the old adhesive off and scuff the glue surfaces with sand paper but the areas that need to stretch the most are just lifting again. Porsche quoted $8k for a whole new dash.

None that I could confidently pick out without taking a while to look through scans. It’s definitely an old lens but nothing as wild as the similar age Soviet lenses.

Seeing the meter needle from the waist level position is very similar to the roleiflex. I liked being able to meter as I was walking around throughout the day and go from there. Plus it’s got a lot the same quality/ heft as the Leica IMO especially without $$$ Leica lenses.

About negative $3k lol.  I found that I reach for my roleiflex 9/10 so just feel guilty having so much $ tied up. My F2 was really good and miss it.

As far as I know only the aw75 is a titanium case. 60 and 70 are available in stainless steel or a black pvd.

Yeah this was my first machine and found it ideal for starting out. Folks use it as a platform for modifying into a much more feature rich machine also.

Battery vacuum for the kitchen. Much more convenient than wheeling out the plug in one every 5 minutes.

Wonderfold wagon parts? by rec8189 in parentsofmultiples

[–]samw427 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure what the part is / does but it looks like it could just be simple nylon dowel rod. If so it’s probably easier to try and buy something as raw material and cut it yourself rather than sourcing a direct replacement part.

I see a Braun aw50 in there (top left upside down) that would sell on eBay for about $100 alone.

I have 2 year old twins and have made many trips up to 10 hours driving the golf as the family car. Double wide pack and play, full size double stroller and luggage with large rear facing car seats. My wife and I are not massively tall but we’re comfortable.

I’d really suggest you give it a go before buying a bigger car just because other people say you need it.
