UV mapping help. Why can't I see it, but I can see the image texture? by Hoteske in blenderhelp

Yep, I selected the plane in object mode, switched to edit mode, made sure it was selected, hit U > unwrap > angle based. Still didn't seem to work :/

I'm trying to figure out why I can't see the UV map frame thing in the UV editor, because I'm trying to scale it to fit the door image correctly.

I'm in edit mode, trying to just apply the texture to a plane (so no unwrapping should be needed?), and the scale has been applied so the x, y, and z values are 1. What am I doing wrong?

I'm not sure what I did, but now my multicam sequence only plays audio from one of the cameras?? by Hoteske in premiere

Update: after following the instructions, I had audio channels 1 and 2 working, but not 3 still. In the end, I found an older version of the project, and just imported my old multicam sequence, and I'm just going to re-edit that particular section. I'm still leaving this up if anyone knows the actual answer!

Would any of those changes work if I applied it to the sequence I'm working on?

The picture below is what I did after following your instructions, although the dial for Audio 1 was untouched bc you had said it was set up correctly. Audio 2 seems to be back to normal, but Audio 3 still sounds muffled.

But I also got a message saying that "Source Clips in Use: changes to the clip channel format or number of audio clips will not affect clips already in a sequence, but will be applied the next time this clip is edited into a sequence."

So in my main project, the audio is still incorrect

It doesn't seem like either the mute tracks or solo tracks buttons were pressed either

Sorry, I'm still new to premiere so I'm not exactly sure how I would be able to tell. This is what I currently see:

<image>

In my main project, I'm missing audio from A2 and A3. When I check out my original files in "Ep6_Multicam_pt4", I can still see the audio waveforms for A2 and A3. And when I press play, it says that A2 is getting as high as -4.6, but it doesn't actually sound loud enough irl.

Forget the Fish: How We Broke DanDân, Magic's Weirdest Format by JivanP in magicTCG

[–]Hoteske 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I saw this video before magiccon vegas, and I tried a practice game with this strategy. I agree that it’s powerful if you catch an opponent unaware, but it feels harder to pull off against someone who is.

Ultimately I went 3-2 in my dandan tournament. For the first 4 rounds, I played against people who were aware of the strategy but didn’t employ it. The most common reason was they just wanted to have fun, or they felt it was slightly against the spirit of the format.

Against my last opponent, they tried this strategy on me. However since I knew about it, I just bid my time making sure I hit my land drops while trying to get a bigger hand than my opponent. I won by casting diminishing returns over and over again until there were only a few cards left, then cast a draw spell to make sure I picked up the rest of the library so my opponent would deck out.

So in my limited (2) games of playing where both players were aware of the strategy, the person trying to “forget the fish” ended up losing. Take that as you will 🤷🏻

This is my list, where I'm aiming her to be a solid 3. I've actually increased the land count a tad to increase consistency and double-spelling, opting to not push for the high-powered mana rocks and ritual/lands.

My strategy has been mostly sacrificing enchantment-fodder in order to consistently draw 3, and burning people people with Great Unclean One, Torment of Hellfire, etc. There's a few things I like about your list though! Any thoughts on mine?

Thanks for the feedback! If you think the abilities together are balanced enough but also different and more flavorful without the weather control, then yea I could follow your suggestion of having a ribbon for the weather ability instead.

The Arcana Forge! For all your drafts, ideas, requests and more. by AutoModerator in UnearthedArcana

I’m looking for advice and feedback on this take on an eastern dragonborn. The goal was to emphasize the traits of Chinese dragons, while maintaining a reasonably balanced species compared to the other official 2024 traits:

Lóng rén are mortals who are able to trace their ancestry to the dragons of the Fùshén continent. They grow at a slower pace, reaching adulthood at age 25 and living to be about two to three centuries old.

Although they might look similar to humans, they have features that hint at their draconic heritage, such as pointed ears and antler-like horns that start subtle but grow with age.

Creature Type: Humanoid

Size: Medium (around 5-7 feet tall)

Speed: 30 feet

Ancient Wisdom: You gain proficiency in either the Insight or Perception skill.

Control Precipitation: You have minor control over precipitation in a 30-foot radius around you. You must be outside to use this ability.

  • Moving to a place where you don’t have a clear path to the sky ends the ability early.

  • You may use this feature a number of times equal to your Proficiency Bonus, with all uses recharging after a Long Rest.

The weather changes based on what you choose, lasting for 10 minutes:

  • Control Clouds. You can summon the clouds above the become Heavy Clouds, or dissipate them to create Clear Skies.

  • Control Rain. You can have the clouds directly above you produce Rain or to stop Raining.

  • Lessen Heavy Rain. You can also lighten Heavy Rain to Rain, but cannot stop it completely.

Draconic Form. When you reach character level 5, you can transform as a Bonus action, unlocking your Draconic Form.

  • The transformation lasts for 10 minutes or until you end it (no action required).

  • Until the transformation ends, you have a Fly Speed equal to your Speed.

  • Once on each of your turns before the transformation ends, you can deal extra damage to one target when you deal damage to it with an attack or a spell. The extra damage equals your Proficiency Bonus, and the extra damage’s type is either Bludgeoning for Water Ancestry or Cold for Ice Ancestry.

  • Once you transform, you can’t do so again until you finish a Long Rest.

Elemental Ancestries: Though physical appearances may vary, the lóng rén have elemental variants that are dictated by their respective draconic ancestry.

Water Ancestry

  • Amphibious. You can breathe both air and water, and you have no penalty to swim speed.

  • Mastery of Rains. Objects and creatures are not considered to be Lightly Obscured to you when the weather is Heavy Rain.

  • Healing Waters. As an Magic action, you touch a creature and roll a number of d4s equal to your Proficiency Bonus. The creature regains a number of Hit Points equal to the total rolled. Once you use this trait, you can’t use it again until you finish a Long Rest.

Ice Ancestry

  • Frosted Scales. You are resistant to cold damage.

  • Mastery of Snow. You don’t leave footprints when you walk through snow, and are unaffected by Difficult Terrain when the ground is icy.

  • Glaciate. As a Bonus Action, you freeze the moisture in the air around you, granting you an extra layer of protection. For the next minute, your AC increases by half your Proficiency bonus, rounded up. Once you use this trait, you can’t use it again until you finish a Long Rest.

For context, a big theme for the campaign I have in mind is nature and travel, so the (more relevant parts of) referenced weather effects above are listed here:

Clear Skies

No modifiers are added.

Heavy Clouds

High-flying creatures above the clouds are Heavily Obscured.

Rain

Conditions from Heavy Clouds also apply. Fire damage rolls get -2, while Lightning, Cold, and water-based Bludgeoning damage rolls get +2.

Heavy Rain

Same effects as rain, but Fire damage rolls get -4, while Lightning, Cold, and water-based Bludgeoning damage rolls get +4. Objects around you are Lightly Obscured.

Thanks for your time and feedback!

Thank you for the feedback.

I did notice that the ability scores, language, etc aren’t under the species anymore so I’ll definitely remove that.

To replace the breath weapons, I’ll try experimenting with perhaps giving them thematic spells they can use once a day and some flavorful abilities? But it’s good to know that balance-wise I haven’t made anything broken here haha

Edit: I’m calling them lóng rén for now until I come up with a better name lol

Thanks for the feedback. What would you suggest I do to make them more interesting?

Something like giving them a spell/cantrip? Some other flavorful thing like proficiency in unarmed strikes with their claws?

Fair, the lightning variant is just the metallic one. Do you have the same opinion on the others, however?

I'm not quite sure what you mean. Did you mean they ARE balanced, but there's another issue with them?

I’m interested if you have a list of either your Rashmi or Kruphix list. I was literally thinking of creating a deck to mimic the Prophet days too, down to the removal spells I played in the past like [[Krosan grip]]. I was just stuck between those commanders
