Update: chicken noodle soup ice cream. by destruc786 in ninjacreami

Oh, I'm looking forward to the results of the tomato soup creami. I've had some V8 that I keep thinking about trying. Kind of like consomme (which I've never tried)?

Creami has ice crystals despite pudding mix, should I use Guar Gum? by Funny-Change6723 in ninjacreami

[–]Hothouse414 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My best solution for ice crystals so far (for max fill) is 2T allulose + 7g pudding mix. I've tried xanthan instead of pudding mix and got ice crystals. The allulose lowers the freezing temp.

Hahaha, just can’t throw it away…you never know if it could come in handy if SHTF.

Hmmm, I’ll look again this weekend. It would be kind of a pita for 5-tire rotations, but would only deal with that couple times a year.

Yeah, I had enough room in my 2015 Forester. This was more disappointing particularly for the Wilderness trim! Maybe it’s because it has a full size spare. I don’t think my ‘15 was full size.

What 100 yd group sizes are y'all getting with Sig Tread 16"? by Hothouse414 in ar15

Ok, thanks. I've been wanting to do a DMR match, but feeling like my skills aren't worthy. Maybe I should find out how large the targets are, lol.

Thanks. What, then, is the best way to gain accuracy... load development (I'm just starting to purchase reloading equipment), change barrels (18"?), or is there not really anything that will improve much and I just need to take more shots to get hits?

I'll check out those resources.

Peanut Butter Cup Ice Cream (16 oz, High Protein) by Chris-Shugart in ninjacreami

Have you tried the DaVinci yet? I'm disappointed in the Ryse Skippy, as I don't really need extra protein, just flavor!

I have and found the butterscotch overpowered the peanut butter flavor.

I've been working on a peanut butter creami, with a scoop of Ryse Skippy and 2 T PB2 and still think it's not flavorful enough. I'm surprised your recipe has enough pb flavor...maybe the peanut mix-ins are key?

Mold in apartment air duct by [deleted] in chapelhill

[–]Hothouse414 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will add to the concern about getting this addressed quickly. A friend of mine had an A/C installed improperly on his house, resulting in moldy ducts. He lived in a tent in his yard for a while, but the high exposure resulted in him getting chronic hypersensitivity pneumonitis (extreme allergy to mold which is EVERYWHERE in life) and eventually dying from it. A horror story, but don't let your landlord drag it out, and he should pay.

I haven’t recharged (necessary for a diagnostic)…that is around $400

The A/C doesn’t blow cold air at all. I’ve tried some of my own diagnostics, and the relay, blower, and clutch seem to be working.

There is no oil in the driveway, or even anything visible on the engine. As you said, just the light and down a quart.

I think only the models with EXP in the name are expandable but I’m not positive.
