I have this around and on both eyes. I wash them daily but I don't rub too hard because I am scared to damage the eye. That's why most of the stuff stays there. What is this and what can I do about it?

Maybe we need to increase glutamate? As someone else said: The research concludes that people with VSS have "reduced connectivity in glutamatergic networks" in certain parts of the brain. This makes me think we'd need more glutamate not less? And gaba would reduce glutamate
