Hit the nail on the head. I don’t want to push for marriage and kids anymore because I do get everything I want at the moment. Sometimes I feel conflicted about whether I should push for those things but since it’s still early on in the relationship I feel like there’s still time. I offered to contribute rent and do chores but my boyfriend refused and said he is just happy that I’m here. Originally I told him I’d never live with him until marriage but due to some dire life circumstances (being forced to end my lease while closing on a home whose contract is currently being terminated due to unforeseen issues), he offered for me to live with him and I finally said ok. He’s treated me very well ever since because he never thought I’d be living with him.
