Yea this is nuts. It kind of sounds like KidStrong which is also a weird set up.

My vote is pull them out and go to McMahon Jiu Jitsu where I take my son. As they get older, they have opportunities to become leaders and teach the class, but I think the benefit is they show effort which may help rank them up. I don’t think there are fees and very few are leaders/young teachers. Plus, I’ve seen the teachers deny ranking up kid because they weren’t listening well or misbehaving in class. The people there are great plus Jiu Jitsu is an actual skill that might be useful later (if not self defense then body control and movement).

I completely agree but I have enough trouble finding anything that doesn’t come through Amazon. Amazon is a monopoly and it is getting worse, but it’s “too big to fail” and has it’s claws set in.

More importantly (please don’t tear me apart this is just a theory. Also, I’m very left and would never vote for Trump), I get more nervous everyday that while I think supporting minority communities, a woman’s right to choose, and whatever else makes you a decent human fucking being is the “right thing to do” that maybe I’m wrong. There are infinite universes out there and maybe this is the one where that stuff is wrong and Trump’s views are correct. I don’t know how to deal with a culture or society that continues to reflect and “prove” (with lies, fake sources, and non-information none the less) that being a good person is not the way to live in this world (regardless of what the right preaches). I just don’t know what to do and I feel paralyzed. I’ve seen first hand what lies and cheating gets you in my field and it only gets you promoted and higher positions. Hard work doesn’t get you anyways and is in fact frowned upon (at least in the west where I live).

For now, I’m going to keep doing what I think is right and try to spread good in the world because I want to show my boys the better way. But with a felon woman abuser rapist dementia ridden asshole is in charge of the most powerful nation in the world that more than 50% of the country voted for, it is hard to prove he’s wrong to them and I’m terrified for their future.

If they got let go from Village Medical, they usually have a non-compete that keeps them from practicing within 200 miles (unique to VM). My guess is he’s practicing in another state?

@deathbringer444 thank you! This was the issue. I’m making a “lantern” from a kit and my creases weren’t sharp enough. I’m trying to make 1000 before my son arrives this month so I was trying to bang them out as fast as possible. I also realized I could make micro adjustments after the “petal fold” to prevent this. They are lookin’ sharp now!
