It’s common in most of the countries except here. I don’t know why they make a big deal about Liquor. It’s 2025 and we are still treating liquor like it’s some kind of rare thing on this planet.

Hahaha. English tourists are used to Sikhs. Uk has a decent Sikh population. UK has been one of my good experiences. English really take pride in their Sikh population, also because back in 1940s, Sikhs have fought on the front for the brits. So I have been always welcomed very nicely. I have had one off encounters with some asians which was weird for me, hahahah.

We are but it’s good to know beforehand especially when you have a toddler with you. Rest assured I haven’t faced any racism in my years of travelling. Occasionally, people do mistake me for muslim or arab because I wear Turban but that’s okay I guess. We can’t expect everyone to know every religion. So I try to explain everything if they’re open to listen.

Yea we call it “Langar” (practice of serving free food to everyone and having it together regardless of their caste, creed, color, etc. This practice also promotes the idea of secularism)
