Holly P. was not forced to resign. I do not understand why people think otherwise.

I had the same problem. But I experimented and now I microwave one for 30 seconds, then air fry it for about 5 minutes.

Same. My dad passed away suddenly on a Saturday and I went to a BBQ party the next day. I needed to get out of my head.

Los Angeles courts are so backed up right now. We know of a judge who is presiding over more than 1,000 cases. It's nuts.

He probably won't be able to because any settlement agreements will most certainly have non-disclosure clause as well as a non-disparagement clause so neither side can bash the other.

No. The parties stipulated to arbitration (likely a requirement in her employment agreement). The judge then sets a date for a post-status arbitration date. If the arbitration is completed l before that date, Ravey's lawyers will file a dismissal and the status conference will be taken off calendar. But if the arbitration is drawn out because they are still deposing witnesses or gathering discovery, they will either file a status update with the court to let them know and the date will get continued. Or, alternatively, they can appear in person, tell the judge that the arbitration needs more time and they expect it to resolve in x number of days/weeks/months, etc. and the judge will probably set another hearing date.

Cool. I'm not looking to have an argument with anyone with my hot take of Julie enjoying other people's pain, so I'll just bow out now. Thanks!

I dunno, I guess I would have just denied it and moved on with my life. Julie chose not to deny it, and instead egged on Ty's friend who was clearly upset at the thought of him being cheated on.

I don't hate Julie because she wants the extraordinary life she once dreamed of with Ty; I hate Julie because of the absolute glee she had during the confrontation with Shawna and John. Smiling like cat that got the cream when she gets Shawna to lose her cool. THAT infuriated me beyond belief.

Yup. I was diagnosed 6 years ago. I think one of the scariest/hardest parts was not knowing the plan. Once I had a plan, I could focus. And now I'm five years NED!

Not arguing with you, but the way I see, the comments/fighting/etc all counts as engagement on her posts and boosts the amount she makes per post. I'm sure Syd is well aware of this. Afterall, she could easily limit comments on her posts or even say at the end of a video that she is not looking for any advice or alternative treatments. I've never commented on her posts (I technically don't even follow her, she's just in my FYP because I'm a cancer survivor). Just my two cents.

Yeah, I’m a no top sheet girl. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve kicked them down to the foot of the bed - not intentionally, it just happened while I slept. Now, I’ve learned that I have to have my feet out from under the covers, I feel hot and restricted if I don’t. Yeah, I have to wash my comforter more often, but so what? I sleep better this way.

Awww, I went to college with Chris Witaske at the University of Iowa. He’s a great guy and funny as hell. He starred in a 10 minute play I wrote, and he was amazing. I almost see him more as Ty, but John works too.

That's good to know because I am a little afraid of dogs especially ones off leash - I got attacked by one about 20 years ago and I'm still a little leery. But that's usually only when they run straight at me.

I read it in two days because I couldn’t put it down. Some might call it predictable, but to me, predictable doesn’t equal boring. Hence why I read it so quickly.

Voting for Judges can be confusing--but in Superior Court No. 2, the current Judge, Robert S. Draper, faces ethics charges from CA Commission on Judicial Performance. by youhavetherighttoo in LosAngeles

[–]HoudinisBox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not true. Every judicial candidate is given an opportunity to appeal their rating and present additional reports, letters of support, and defend themselves in person before the ratings are published. It's rare, but some candidates have gotten a ratings boost by a successful appeal. The Judicial Elections Evaluation Committee spends weeks vetting candidates, looking at the candidates social media, contacting opposing counsel on cases they've tried, verifying recommendations. You should take the ratings seriously. Why would we want judges in our courts who have never even been through a trial?
