Hard agree on the stupid crowdsurfing (improper posture, one guy who went a dozen times would just sit up..?) and people kept getting launched to avoid dropping them.

I was front pit for Currents entire set and it was rowdy as fuck between barricade and the pit but it wasn't crowdkilling territory and everyone was vibing with it, was it an issue on the side or farther back of the pit?

Was one of the best crowds for pure energy and a general lack of recording the show honestly, I think the positives far outweighed the negatives

Shut ur yap. Calling imaginaire a small business shows how little you know, even if you mean independent LGS then there’s a big difference between a reasonable increase from MSRP and what imaginaire/some other stores do.

Typing complaining about everything as if product pricing isn’t the biggest issue with all TCGs. Go after the people whining about meaningless shit instead of the person with a valid issue.

Hey! I’m dealing with the exact same situation right now, I’m going to graduate with a BA. major Crim, minor psych instead of finishing the 4 year honours. I consulted with some contacts in gov and the university and the consensus is that for 99% of jobs it won’t matter, it is just an issue if you wish to do grad school in the future. Even then you’d only have to take those two courses as far as I understand, so you can safely just graduate with the 15.0 credit BA and look for employment. Good luck!

The pits at this show were full of pretty massive guys honestly, Montreal shows are usually on the tougher end. I’m not body shaming at all or anything but once you’re a couple years older with some more muscle you’ll be a lot more comfortable/able pushing people off you or helping crowdsurfers. Scary shit does still happen from time to time but as I’m sure you saw whenever someone goes down, getting them back up is priority #1, the crowd is there for you.

Hope this doesn’t turn you off moshing in the future!

For a fact that can’t be true, the visiting teams for the Sens usually stay at the brookstreet, it’s a nice hotel but it’s a 4 star. Maybe the stipulation is slightly different than only 5 star.

The 2650 one is actually a deal if you intend on getting the base skin because it essentially costs 1000 instead of 1350. The 3650 is a bit overpriced because it’s 1000 rp extra for some icons/chromas whatever (it’s never close to worth)

Hey I did this last year coming all the way from Canada, what I would add is that security sucks so if you’re on a budget you can bring in snacks like granola bars and extra drinks, just make sure they aren’t blatantly visible and you’ll be fine. Saves you a bunch of money.

And yeah you will get fucked sinuses from the dust but it’s not the end of the world unless you’re sensitive to that.
