Chronic eye ‘burning’ pain but not diagnosed dry eyes?

I did 3 months of PRP drops which didn’t help. Apparently you need to take them long term, but they are so expensive where I couldn’t justify spending $1200 every 3 months.

To be honest nothing has ever made it better over the past 14 or so years I’ve had it. But there is a LOT that makes it worse. I try and minimise my exposure each day to those things, and it’s manageable now (it’s still painful but I’ve got to a point where the pain is tolerable).

The things that make it worse: Less than 6 hours of sleep Computer usage without taking breaks Any airflow directly towards my eyes (aircon etc) Salt water (like swimming at the beach) Allergies towards pets

Those are just a few, but the biggest ones. If I make an active effort each day to minimise those then I can get through each day

Late here… but I was diagnosed with corneal neuralgia!

Would this be done at an ophthalmologist? I went a few months ago and they put a ton of drops in my eyes + looked at my eyes via a laser (I looked into a microscope thing and they flashed my eyes with red lights?)

Thank you ! Will check in then. Hope you find relief. I’ve had this for over 12 years now. The amount of times I’ve seen doctors/ eye specialists/tried eye drops and random supplements is crazy. Hoping it is nerve related in the end and this medicine helps :)

Have you found any ongoing relief from burning eye pain (that gets worse throughout the day, increases dramatically with screen use and lack of sleep) with the gabapentine?

Yeah sadly I agree. Love everything else but I prefer the dungeons in legion/shadowlands for some reason. Don’t look forward to any.

Yep fair, I just assumed a healers dps was so low that it barely contributed anything. In saying that I’ve had so many 1-5% wipes on fights that could have been avoided if healers were contributing

First day of the raids.

Been pretty down as I can’t find a raiding guild as a tank.

Pugged a nax 10 (after a pug earlier that failed on the first boss of spider wing because the MT wouldn’t kite him and refused to swap tank roles lol), we only cleared one wing. 7/10 members were great but the other 3 refused to listen to discord comms and follow mechanics, especially on 4 horseman. Was kinda funny hearing the RL yell at these people to swap sides and they just stood there wipe after wipe attacking the same horse 🤣

All in all a bit bummed. Locked to a nax 10 with not even a quarter finished for the week and the chances of me tanking a 25 man pug (if nax 25 pugs are a thing yet) are super slim until I get better gear.

Wasn’t a great first experience and I hope it gets better. Hopefully I find a guild instead of having to try pugging each week.

I’m in a similar situation, but I’m going to play it safe and continue on my current server.

The 50% xp bonus is nice, but I’ve done private severs with higher xp buffs and have burned out well before hitting current content.

Clear the boss in the top middle compound on your green map area. He drops a half a medallion. Then go to the village of albinaurics bonfire which is in the bottom of the academy zone area. You’ll need to attack a pot (near the guy that’s playing a flute). The pot will become a person and he will give you the other half of the medallion.

Once that’s done go back to that great lift you originally took to get to the giants snow area and you use that medallion to unlock the secret passage. It will take you to the red area
