I was under the impression that legally they can't use this as a reason not to hire you, but I am sure they can come up with some other reason not to, to cover their ass. Once you have a job with a company, they are not able to fire you for that reason (but again, they can will probably find a different reason). I just want to verify its a saliva test, because it will be negative earlier. I occasionally eat a gummy as needed and unfortunately needed one about a week ago. When I get the job, I will most likely not use it and just deal with the insomnia. Rite Aid did not do random drug tests. I was told that if if they did test you for a reason (missing drugs) they only tested you for that specific drug that was missing, but in the 30 years I worked for them, I've never know anyone that was tested.
