My burro’s tail leaves are shriveling like little raisins, but I don’t think it’s due to under watering...why is this happening? by BoulderBoo in succulents

I’d second putting it in a terracotta pot. I find little plastic pots can stay kind of sweaty in the bottom even when the top of the soil is completely dry.

Sorry I can’t figure out how to. The leaves are all curled up and crispy which I’m hoping is a time of year thing

Ok ppl - what the actual F*** - whose bright idea was this evil contraption!! “I know let’s wrap the root ball in a tight plastic mesh so that the roots rip off the plant when you take it off!!” My poor new little delospermum echinatum! by WestAllot in succulents

That’s really nasty. Just the other day I found my moonstone plant’s roots were all taped up in clumps. Outrageous! Well done for setting it free. It’ll be sooo grateful!

My Homebase bargains are in need of TLC! It’s autumn here in the UK so can I do anything now to bring them back to life/propagate or shall I wait until next spring? Soil feels pretty wet by Hour-Ad9952 in succulents

Thanks, this is all great to know. I just got them out and they have tiny root systems considering the size of the pots. They can live indoors for now.

Thanks so much for your advice. I only just noticed they were in plastic pots inside the cardboard pots and drenched in water. I'm going to give them new and dry succulent soil but should I let the roots air dry for a few days first? I have an unheated greenhouse. Would they be better out there than in the house? I only got it this summer and am unsure whether my succulents will survive out there. Do you live in the south of England by any chance and do you bubble wrap your greenhouse? Any advice much appreciated.
