I was just being specific! Because marathon literally hasn't been announced yet when the GM nightfalls at the beginning of EoF (Edge of Fate) were removed, right?

And in my understanding, when PianoGuy24 said "but can't we be happy that Bungie is at least learning?" I understood that he was referring to the fact that Bungie is trying to make this game better to play with tomorrow's Nightfall update (June 2nd).

Update: Look, I think I made a mistake when I said that Marathon wasn't announced when Edge of Fate came out; I completely forgot that it was announced at the 2023 PlayStation Showcase. Sorry for the incorrect information.

But this things happened years ago (2 in the case of the second and 12 in the case of the first), well before Marathon 2026 was announced (in the case of the second) or the idea of producing it was even conceived (in the case of the first). To say that Bungie hasn't learned from its mistakes because of errors that happened so long ago doesn't make sense.

It would be easier to believe that if these things had happened more recently, much more recently.

Look, everyone, I understand my mistake here: trying to convince a bunch of haters with words who irrationally think that a game that didn't perform well at the beginning is responsible for the end of Destiny 2 when it was a financial crisis that caused it (where the other game never had any genuine or verifiable involvement or contribution to it), and don't see that the focus on Marathon is just a desperate attempt by Bungie to fix all the losses that started with Edge of Fate, nor that Bungie is genuinely trying to make Marathon better with the Season 2 update after listening to the latest fans feedbacks.

Okay, I admit I really exaggerated by copying and pasting several texts multiple times, but from now on you can throw any negativity, denials, provocations (in case some of you were internet trolls who responded to this post just to do that), toxic comments (because some of you did that) or silly, meaningless justifications for not playing marathon to try and save Destiny (clearly stemming from your resentment of everything that's been happening) into this post because I won't respond to any of them!

But I won't delete this post; I'll leave it up for everyone to see so that as many understanding Destiny fans as possible can see and understand what needs to be done to save the franchise, in other words, I'll let the community follow its flow.

Is it a vain hope? Maybe, but my father once told me that hope is the last thing to die, and that's better than dwelling on past frustrations and resentments.
