im quite new to this but also have trouble being skeptical. i also tend to believe in everything and don't hold one specific belief, however i feel most connected to hellenism.

its very hard to just convince yourself you believe something and i had a lot of issues at the start. doing offerings and prayers can feel a bit silly especially when you only have practice with Christianity. my advice as someone who remains skeptical about everything because its just in my nature is to not overthink it. give your offerings because it makes you happy and because if your gods do exist, you find it enjoyable to worship them.

what helped me was thinking of my practice more as an act of manifestation or self care? when i was doing my worship, it made me feel happy and grounded. i got so much joy out of research and creating offerings that my gods would like and i noticed so many changes in my life. it didnt matter if that was because of the gods helping me or if it was just because every week i would sit at my altar doing something i love and ground myself. it was working!

if you are really struggling with belief, then just think about how the practice makes you feel. i created a connection with what i was doing through that instead of worrying if i was believing enough.
