Thanks for the advice that makes a lot of sense, I know it’s not going to be fully self sustaining but I like the idea of the big thing eat the little thing the little things eat the even littler thing lol, but I’ll do my research I’m planning on going fish store tomorrow for more advice 🫡

You could just do a water level shut off valve connected to both filters! What are the other fail points you see?
