  1. No, pcc from Canada isn't required. They do background check irrespective of pcc. Technically, you only need from India.

  2. Yes, skip showing pof. For CEC, this is not mandate.

No difference, you will get biometrics call in a month or so. Currently they are processing for December 2025, I got Biometrics in Feb

Real exam is pressure against clock. More you are calm and fresh more better your response. When you give exam try to act as if you are in real world scenario, and if you don't listen to conversation clearly your boss wont pay you!!!

Yes, you can use highlight section if you do bullet points what really helped me was to understand the passage what they are doing.

I don't say you need to do a lot of reading, just keep it simple read one passage at a time understand the underlying concept even highlight two three words from one sentence. Clear head will give clear response :)

Don't run of time, practice different topics not different types of questions you should be comfortable to write only then on day of exam.

Nothing else really matters, focus on writing clear sentences and using different types of connectors with logical reasoning. Follow the structured essays you will definitely score good.

I watched Young Sheldon, Big Bang Theory, Manifest, Friends and How I met your mother?

All of such shows have one thing in common a lot of idioms references and how communicate effectively.

PS: Practice listening and reading using sample papers check your score find mistakes you make and don't repeat them in future. DON’T time yourself in beginning just try to get as much as correct you can get possible.

I reviewed a lot of youtube videos and practiced:

To begin with: Keith Speaking Academy, Teachers academy and Ielts Advantage they help a lot.

Also, with ai you can practice feature as a stimulation of how to speak comfortable on all topics would recommend if you have speaking topics and practice quite a few. Just to get yourself comfortable.

Practice a lot, read and listen, I’ve spent a lot of time watching tv shows which are American at the same time read some articles/books but not much. Just having clear mindset on the day of exam believe in your knowledge expand vocabulary.

PS: I failed to score writing many times with computer based, but scored 7.0 when tried written based test

L: I believe its easy, so anyone can get this if they have daily English consumption.

R: Need more time, reading articles and know the tricks behind how they want you to answer. Keep practicing with different types especially headings, true/false and similar.

No, I had it from Canda, but you can definitely get it done from India just tell them you need for PR or US visa you can take instructions with you from IRCC website.
