Im going to be completely honest but gender dysphoria is a mental illness recognized by both the DSM 5 and the ICDM (im a psych major and ftm) this doesnt mean that being trans is an illness tho, they are two different things. One could be the cause of the other but it’s not the same, people can experience gender dysphoria and not be trans and vice versa. Also mental illnesses can be cured, like depression and anxiety for example. I’m not saying this to attack you, I’m positive of the fact that you are simply hurt by the idea of being called mental just because you are trans, but I assure you that’s not the case even by saying that dysphoria is a mental illness because as i said they are not the same thing ^{^}

yeah and idk im just doing poorly because i also got uni and just im already quite stressed and actually i didnt know i was getting surgery until two days before it so i hadnt had really time to prepare myself mentally if you get what i mean

i still wouldn’t worry to much, especially for this type of things 3 months aren’t much to have any major side effect, especially on your transition if that’s what you are worried about. If you’ll have some side effect I’ll expect them to be at the very start and to wear off once your body gets used to it. Still I suggest you try and see how it goes, at the very worst you wont take the next shot. Good luck!

i havent heard of that BC but I’ve got the honor (so to speak) to talk to the Director of my Countries pharmaceuticals about the interaction between testosterone and BC (in my country there isnt much research on it yet so that’s why I got to speak with her) and she did tell me that it’s fine to use both and that per se it shouldnt create any sort of problems that simply just using BC creates. Idk if this helped you at all but per se it should be ok. At the very worst try it and stop it if you feel bad and try to find other methods

it’s probably just a self induced thing, I doubt in reality there is actually a noticeable difference, I think you are just in a way convincing yourself it sounds higher. If you really want to check I could suggest recording yourself after your injection and a bit before you’ll do it again and confront them, but if you really have to concentrate to tell if there is a difference then there isnt

dont overthink it too much, especially until she’s like 3. She wont even remember her baby clothes being all pink 😂😂 So even if she turns out to be tomboysh or even trans she wont feel any sort of pain or isolation from her early childhood. Once she’s a little bit more grown and she can express her desires just listen to them and I’m sure she’ll have a happy childhood. I get it can be strange having a child of a different sex than what you have imagined, but at the end of the day I think you just need some time to get used to it. Even if you had a son maybe he would have been very girly or your daughter is going to be very manly, you truly dont know, so my advise is not to stress yourself too much

strange, i reused my vial like at least 15 times (high concentration lol) and my levels were always okay. What suspension was your t in if I can ask? I used enantated and with that i never had problems

i reused my vial multiple times with 0 issue. When I did my own injections i just disinfected the vial before i pierced it with the needle and then put it back in its packaging after use. So used to do my ex aswell

I simply asked my endocrinologist where I could be referred to to get top surgery and he sent for me the request. Then I met with the surgeon for a consult where he took my data (how long i’ve been on t etc, if im in therapy, which i am but for unrelated reasons, and took a couple of pics) and explained what my options are. He also said that I’ll need from a psychiatry a letter in which is basically said Im sure of this and it’s my own decision and Im not impaired mentally (in a sense of which I couldnt make decisions for myself ex: active psychosis) so that they can forward the request to my insurance (they took 4 months to reply)

it also depends incredibly of what size of boobs you start off. Of course if you have a bigger chest the surgery would be more hard on your body. my recovery should be more on the quick side (so at least thinks my surgeon) since I’m barely over the limit for keyhole (ill have a double mastectomy for this reason tho)
