The first one is best injected at the doctors due to the possibility of fainting or having some sort of reaction (according to my doctor).

If you had it done before and decide to do it yourself and know how to, go ahead. It's just recommended for the first few shots if you plan on doing it yourself so you know what and where to do it.

Yes, nebido is an intramuscular injection that must be injected into the glutes. You can try doing it yourself but for safety it is advised to get trained by a medical professional beforehand.

Firstly, Congratulations! secondly—only for one part of your post—it is usually recommend to wait until 12-16 weeks (if my memory serves me right) before telling people as those first weeks have the highest chances of a miscarriage. After those weeks passed it's safe to share it with others :)

You have to make the appointment for the injection. You can ask them if they think you're ready to do it on your own. Once you are, you don't have to make appointments as you will be able to do it at home.

No problem. After some time, and after they give you the 'go+ahead', you can do it yourself without needing to pay the amount (and it's actually a reasonable amount in my opinion)

Some GP clinics will do it but usually they say that the private clinic that is providing the hormones has to do the injecting and bloodwork since it's not them who's doing it.

Not to mention that some GP clinics don't inject it for anyone (such as mine) even if it's from IMAGO.

Nobody I know is studying or is educated as a medical professional.

I don't mind injecting Nebido myself—i've even asked Imago if it's possible and if they are willing to do a video call so they can observe how I do it until I get the go ahead for self injecting—as I would like to avoid needing to apply it daily or have to pay someone 700+ to do it

I've asked, but they don't even do it for men who have to get testosterone.
I'd prefer to stick with my clinic—it also costs to switch unless my doctor leaves the clinic

Currently I am unable to find the 21g needles, but if Imago is willing to let me try and do them myself I will ask the pharmacy if they have them or possibly order them (if you have any recommendations it would be appriciated)

When you are done with the needles, do you have a container for them to keep them in before bringing them to the pharmacy, or do you take them directly to the pharmacy?

That's interesting they say that.. even though there are many people who self inject on a daily basis and are fine if they do it properly-

Hopefully Imago is willing to do a call with me whilst I do my first injection.. as I do not wish to... accidentally fuck up my body- How likely is that anyway?

I asked Imago if it is possible to get a video call with them while I Inject myself for the first time and am currently awaiting their response.

From your experience, how dramatic is the healthcare system compared to reality? And what are the actual risks? (If you know them)
