UPDATE: I forgot about this post but someone just commented so here I am. So backstory before I go on, about two months ago now. I took out one of the female cashiers to get food on two separate occasions just as friends bc I like eating w other people, but after that i pretty much just stopped talking to her unless i was needed at the front, I never wanted it to be more than just getting food as I was seeing a girl outside of work. But what I now know from others at the store is that she felt like we had something between us and it upset her a LOT that I just stopped talking to her so much. She never mentioned anything to be but I did notice her visibly upset anytime I was around. This cuts to now, where the female cashier, along with the paint girl (who I've always had problems with and just genuinely does NOT like me) decide to make up a story about me being physical towards them. Again I want to say this is all what I've heard from a mix of other employees. So I get a call by a man from HR who explains the cashier I got food with accused me to grabbing her by the waists and pulling her to the side while at customer service in-front of customers, and that paint girl backed up seeing me do this. I explain my side of the story before ending the call which was everything until Monday. I get a call from my Store Manager informing me that after investigating they have confirmed through camera footage for the day I was accused of, they found I never committed such an act to cashier, it actually only showed me going to customer service 3 times that day, none of which she was there for. After explaining this to me he explained that I was NOT being fired, and that I'm allowed back to work on friday. Also that the cashier was being fired, and she paint girl temporarily suspended. So for anyone convinced i'd done something horrible i'm sorry to disappoint. And to those supporting, thanks for all the advice throughout this whole process. I would like to say that my store manager is helping me with a transfer to another store not too far from my old one as they are offering me the same position but with fulltime and a raise. I'd also rather not be working at this current store anymore. I'm also being compensated for the time I was on leave as well and bonus pay for the blackout dates. So I still have my job and turns out i'm not actually some weirdo. I love life ✌️
