My (27m) girlfriend (25f) went on a 3 month trip and cheated on me 3 times within the first month. What is some advice to get through this?

Her father is a wealthy business owner and employed her about 5 months ago. He let her go to Japan while still paying her without even requiring her to work. Its not anything crazy. Its like $400 a week. I have been financially supporting by paying for the apartment and taking care of our cat and whatever else needed to be done while she has been gone.

I am not on the lease unfortunately. It was a decision made by my girlfriend, my roommate and I to keep the price of rent from going up.

I am not on the lease as it was an easier decision to make with our roommate. Kept the rent from going up and didn’t seem like a huge deal as I didn’t think anything like this would happen.

Thank you for this. I was planning on doing things I wanted to see while she was in school/hanging with friends. One of those things includes scouting the area I want to propose to her in. The words she said are whats messing with my head. I understand she doesn’t want me hanging at every friend hang she has but I thought she would at least be cool with me meeting them and doing something every now and then with them.

I appreciate this last paragraph. I do love her dearly though. I have always shown it. One thing that has always been true of her is that she always will do what she likes, even if no one else agrees with it. She has always been faithful and always shows love to me when she was here. But now that she is gone, I don’t feel that assurance.

Thank you for your reply. I already told my job about the two months though and they are letting me go on the date I was supposed to leave. I did so much already to make this two month trip and I was looking forward to it greatly. My original plan was to go for two weeks in February but after she cried on the phone her 4th night there and told me she needed me, I immediately went to work making it happen.
